LSS-DJeq

The DJ-friendly equalizer that was missing in Ableton Live.

This is a three band (LOW - MEDIUM - HIGH) equalizer similar to the EQ section found on most professional DJ mixers.

The neutral position is halfway through the range of the control (circular knob pointing to 12 o'clock), rotating the control to the right produces a boost of up to 6dB, rotating the control to the left cuts all the way to silence.

After many hours of critical testing and many tweaks to the internal parameters, we think we have got a very musical, usable equalizer that matches the sound of the best hardware professional DJ mixers.

Why is this useful? Because if you have a hardware controller that behaves like a DJ mixer you can finally assign it to an equalizer that behaves the same way.

NOTE: All the MIDI mapping is done via Ableton Live's native interface, so there is no direct mapping function on the plugin.
