The Soundiron Luftballon is an instrument library entirely centered on sounds created with the use of latex rubber party balloons. The instruments were created by manipulating, inflating, deflating, stretching, striking and popping over a hundred rubber party balloons, individually and as an ensemble. There are single-shot and sustaining articulations, as well as a selection of special FX presets that manipulate the sounds in strange new ways. The sounds are ideal for experimental percussion, glitch and other sound design uses.
