midiPLY is an uniquest eccentric Mac App that allows you real-time "MIDI Modification" performance, designed extremely by Juno Ju-X.
- Does One Thing: Multiplies incoming MIDI notes and override on any tracks in sync.
- Even more: Try with uncountable combinations of MIDI track and sound to find undiscovered music performance.
- Typical Setting to begin: Use midiPLY for a drum track.
Setup a MIDI sequencer and any MIDI sound module or a sampler that plays drum set sound in your Mac. Be sure the sequencer sends MIDI from any available virtual bus. (Let me note that GarageBand does not do this. ProTools does.)
Launch midiPLY, set BPM (default = 120) and press the "PRESS" or hit Space Bar. You will get it. Press "H" for hints to use each controls.
midiPLY is ideal for real-time performance with a ready set MIDI track. Also ideal for finding unexpected melody line that usually human won't play.
