We go over all of the basic controls and terminology you'll see on a standard EQ you'll find in any DAW on the market today. Q knob, Frequency Range, Bell Curves, Shelves, Boosting, Cutting, High Pass & Low Pass Filters. Everything you'll need to understand in order use the tool properly.

Part Two

We go over different types of EQs. Graphic EQs, Parametric EQs, etc. We'll even talk about the benefits and draw backs of each flavor.

Part Three

I walk you through a session. You get to see what settings were used where. Hear the difference with and without the EQ engaged on bass guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals, piano, and more.
