got this as the pre-release offer. tried it with single note step input and with live keyboard input also with boss gt-001 audio to MIDI conversion. by the time you have messed about including all the required keystokes/midi instructions for expression [pitch bend/muting/playing position etc] to achieve a realistic performance you may as well have just plugged a bass in and made a real recording of 'a' bass. fine if you are used to working with virtual instruments in that way but do not expect to sound like chris squire or Stanley clark! just by plugging it in to your signal path. it's an instrument NOT and amp/fx. what it is good for is determining what 'kind of bass sound' you want. but I would then go away and buy that kind of real bass. if you want instant basslines from MIDI files, it ain't gonna happen. if you are a studio it will increase your working time ten fold.
the amp section is a bit messy too. so I bypassed it and used the free amplitube 4 amps instead where mic positioning is more flexible.
