The Moog Multimode Filter delivers an analog-sounding VCF (voltage controlled filter) emulation made for mixing, performing, creating, or destroying. The Moog Multimode Filter is a 'digital-only' tabletop filter set that combines the best of Bob Moog's classic designs with select features from his final Voyager instrument.
The UAD Moog Multimode Filter incorporates features such as a 0 / +20dB gain switch giving an option for the extreme distortion capabilities found at the Minimoog's external input. There is also an Envelope control with both positive and negative values, plus a simple Smooth/Fast switch to change Envelope response time. Next, the Voyager's Spacing control is included that detunes two separate hard-panned filters. A tempo-syncable LFO section incorporates six wave selections and an LFO phase Offset control (-180º to 180º). Mix blends wet and dry signal, while Output controls the final volume of the instrument. In addition, a Mono/Stereo switch enables the mono summing of any stereo effect, plus Effect/Bypass turns off all effects but leaves the Drive and Output controls enabled. Finally, Step/Track disables/enables filter smoothing, in cases where extreme DAW automation may be required.
Features:
- Accurate recreation of the historical Moog Four-Pole filter sound.
- Sophisticated Lowpass, Highpass and Bandpass filtering with self oscillation, saturation and zero artifacts.
- Several classic and modern Moog instrument features combined into one simple control set.
- Six wave shapes, and tempo synchronization for LFOs.
- Mono and Stereo processing, with special features like Spacing and Offset for stereo effects.
- Includes low DSP "SE" version of Moog Multimode Filter.
A Note about UAD Powered Plug-ins
UAD-2 and UAD-1 Powered Plug-Ins run exclusively on Universal Audio's UAD DSP Accelerator Cards. All available Powered Plug-Ins are included in the UAD Software Installer/Updater Package; and every Plug-In title has a separately activated 14-day trial -- so users can try before they buy, at their own pace. Once a user decides to purchase a Plug-In, they can click on the Plug-In toolbar "Buy" button, which automatically takes them to the www.uaudio.com website and carts the plug in; or this can be done manually via browsing our webstore. Once the purchase is complete, a downloadable Authorization File is made available. Users simply drag and drop this Auth. File into the UAD meter, and the Plug-In is authorized. UAD-1 users can transfer Plug-In licenses to UAD-2 format for free (one time only). Via Customer Support, Universal Audio also allows registered UAD owners to sell their UAD card(s) with Plug-In licenses, transferring the licenses to the new card owner (subject to Universal Audio approval).
