An approximation of the architecture of a single Supernova II 'Program', ; no arp, vocoder or effects.
Different oscillator waveform setup: sine/tri/Pulse mix, cross-fades with sine/peak/saw mix.
Be sure to click on the panel's "Info" button for explanations of most of the controls.
All controls are visible on the single edit page, including all modulations.
- Three oscillators, plus Noise.
- Ring Mod, FM and Sync.
- Multimode, dual-slope filter.
- Two full-featured LFOs.
- Two mod envelopes.
- Dedicated amp envelope; also available for other modulation.
- Each oscillator, noise and filter each have dedicated modulation matrices.
No claim is made that this sounds like any Novation synth; only borrows from most of the Supernova's structure and controls, with several customizations/modifications.
32-bit, so will require jBridge, etc., (or a DAW that will bridge) for use on 64-bit systems.
The link on the website is to a Sync.com folder that also contains the .osm Synthmaker source 'schematic', so anyone with SM, or it's successor Flowstone, can alter it to suit. It's hoped that anyone who makes significant improvements will share the result with everyone.
As this was originally built for my own use only, there are no presets included; I wanted to come at the instrument anew each time, as one did with vintage analog hardware.
