Pure Acoustic Guitars is a playable and realistic acoustic guitar sample library collection for Kontakt.
Features two steel string guitars; a Taylor 410, and a Martin Herringbone HD-28; on two DVDs, each note meticulously multi sampled with up to 9 sample layers per note. Styles include: picked, fingerstyle, two finger plucks, four layers of mutes for each guitar, soft and hard vibrato, open strings, half step slides, harmonics, and many finger and fret noises. The Kontakt version allows Kontakt's flexible real time modulation routing to control such things such as Mod Wheel to real vibrato (Soft and Hard).
Both guitars were also detuned to low D to capture deep buzzy bass notes. The recording was done using a matched pair of Schoeps mikrophones through API preamps. Featuring extreme audio quality; 24/96 as well as a lower memory version for each guitar.
The entire collection weighs in at over 8 GB and 5500 samples.
Also available as a Reason ReFill.
