Ramparts Ruined Castles is a collection of physically modelled impulse responses from ten ruined medieval castles.

It contains over 80 impulse recordings, including individual left and right stereo files, combined stereo files, and true stereo quad files.

We provide both front and rear microphone positions allowing you to make full use of almost any high quality surround sound convolution reverb unit.

Using proprietary physical modelling synthesis software we are able to create highly realistic impulse responses of spaces that don't exist, or no longer exist, in the real world.

For this collection we studied floor plans, descriptions, maps, and photographs of ten ruined medieval castles from around the UK and crafted synthesised models, restoring the buildings to their original design.
