How to use in Studio One:
1. Place your instrument to track
2. Place instance of Selector plugin to track
3. Set instrument's input to 'Selector'
4. Enable instrument track's monitoring.
5. Make sure all MIDI channel numbers match (in tracks and in plugin)
6. Load *.ins file by clicking 'open...' in Selector plugin
How to use in FL Studio:
1. Insert Selector to channel rack.
2. Set correct MIDI port in plugin settings (the gear wheen icon in top left corner of the plugin window).
3. Set MIDI channel using the "Ch" wheel.
4. Load *.ins file by clicking 'open...' in Selector plugin.
Hi Seccione, .
Does it mean that need to add new instance of Selector plugin for each channel added ?
Meaning I must have instrument+plugin pair for each channel ?
Thanks.

Hi,
very nice. I will test it this evening. Maybe this is the last thing I missed in S1 tu use my keyboard with the onboard sounds by easily choosing the sound by their names.
Unfortunately it only supports instrument definitions from sonar and not the patch names / scripts from cubase. For cubase I create my own patch scripts as an XML-file. So I have to look for a converter (nothing found yet) or finally I had to create an ins-file by myself again.

I'm trying to get this to work in Samplitude ProX3 Suite. As a Sonar refugee moving to Samplitude this would be so brilliant if it could work.
However, while I can load the banks/patches and can get it to appear as a plugin on an input track, I can't see the VST-Out appear as an input on another track, which I would need to route it to the physical output for the external synth. I've checked that it is ticked in Selector and have tried both the 64 and 32-bit versions.
Almost there .... please help.
Hi,
Did you ever have any luck using the Selector with Samplitude and the JV-1080.
I've got the INS files loaded etc but still no joy.
Cheers.
Brian.
Does anyone know of a mac equivalent please?
