64-bit only. Win10 tested but others may work fine.
Slapper is a multi-tap delay. But that's really not telling you anything - because you've never seen a delay like this.
Slapper is essentially 8 delay units, very cleverly massaged into one simple plugin. Each delay line has it's own independent level, time, feedback and damping controls, as well as pan position in the stereo field. It features a pair of main output filters as well as mix and output level controls, and anything can be automated without zippering or nasty artifacts.
But that's the stuff you'd expect to see.
What you won't be expecting are the bizarre possibilities offered by Tape-Mode - the realtime varispeeding effect caused by dragging Slapper's pucks around in the tap-field.
And the intuitive tempo-sync mode with grid lines and snapping, mean that you can design rhythmic patterns that are just not possible by any other means.
The user interface is designed to visually represent exactly what the user is hearing, providing immediate visual feedback about what the unit is doing, and enabling extremely fast and creative design of spaces and effects. Slapper will always look exactly like it sounds.
You can make anything from an attic to a canyon... from a simple vocal slap to insanely complex syncopated grooves - and you'll do this quickly, and precisely, and with a big smile on your face.
