The developper of nusofting knows his classics
his plugins always sound a little bit extra , he puts a lot o love working
these out.
compared to other stringsynths (for instance gmedia virtual stringmachine wich is samplebased , strings dream only takes up 1mb )
strings dreamsynth is a lot more flexible than it first shows, the phaser
fx are a lot better and flexible than that of gmedia .

the octave dividing circuitry is emulated authentically with the lower octaves giving typical buzzy and raspy strings and the higher octaves
smooth and without aliasing .

A selectable splitpoint for the bass part is possible (maybe a seperate fx routing option for the bass and upper part would be nice), in the oscillator 4th foot setting the sawtooth (an analog approximation of it not a perfect digital one)has a phase setting wich gives it a pulsewidth like quality , again very useful. there is no oscillator detune setting but that isnt a problem since slight detune has been added in the octave divider and full control over it is implemented in the ensemble part.
the ensemble fx are built up from two seperate rate settings along with the stereo knob gives movement from gentle to full wide modulated stereo.

Phasing is always difficult to emulate but its really very versatile
how it is implemented here, multiple stages along with the feedback parameter give lots of coloring options, maybe id like some deeper
mod sweeping of the phaser (i like phasing where at the extreme end of the sweep it seems to hang for a moment)


All of the original stringsynths can be emulated with this one , even the
yamaha SS30 that was used with so much effect on the early Magazine and ultravox albums
