Modeled after the features, structure and functions of the EMS VCS3 'The Putney'.
It will not sound like any vintage EMS hardware; being built with Synthmaker and not containing any custom-coded modules or analog-modeling. But it is a free window into the unique structural system of sound-shaping that is a pin-matrix patched semi-modular synth containing 'modules' similar to what the VCS3 had.
Two versions are available - one has a simple stepLFO added, the other has approximations of some of the functions of the DK 1 keyboard, including the additional saw oscillator.

32-bit, so will require jBridge, etc., (or a DAW that will bridge) for use on 64-bit systems.
The link on the website is to a Sync.com folder that also contains the .osm Synthmaker source 'schematics', so anyone with SM, or it's successor Flowstone, can alter it to suit. It's hoped that anyone who makes significant improvements will share the result with everyone.
As this was originally built for my own use only, there are no presets included; I wanted to come at the instrument anew each time, as one did with vintage analog hardware.
