True Keys Pianos by VI Labs is the culmination of over three-years of work. It features nearly 50,000 samples among three of the most sought after acoustic grand pianos in the world.

A Virtual Studio

True Keys Pianos features multiple stereo microphone positions on each of the three pianos from the side, player, and close position. You can mix and match several of those positions at the same time, or use an included "mix" position to get a blend of each position.

The microphone positions were sampled to allow you to get dramatically different sounds from each piano by employing a stereo ribbon microphone for a slightly more mellow and vintage tone, a stereo set of large diaphragm condenser microphones for capturing a brighter/bigger tone, or a more neutral set of small diaphragm condenser microphones for everything in-between.

Realism

From the sampled sympathetic resonance and sustain pedal resonance, to the pedaling features in True Keys, it was designed to sound and play as close to the real thing as possible. Each feature is fully customizable, but comes set in a default real-world setting when installed.

Engine

True Keys is powered by the latest version of the UVI Engine or MachFive 3. The advanced scripting and features required to build True Keys required the most powerful and versatile engine we could find. For us, that was the UVI Engine and Mach Five.
