Green Oak Crystal

I don't know where to begin to start describing this synth.
It's free and in my opinion, competes with some expensive stuff out there. The GUI doesn't. But in its own way is perfectly good enough. There is a very nice feel to the GUI but it simply doesn't quite have the professional touch.....but what do you want for free!!!

Sound wise, this thing is brilliant. The sounds are stunning now that v2.4 is around with its SoundFont capability and Patch Breeder. Some truly amazing patches can be made.

One issue I do have is its CPU load. It isn't brilliant and requires a good, fast PC, but if you have anything better than a P4 2GHz then there should be no problem at all.

I highly recommend this synth, as its features and versatility are awe-inspiring, as the sounds you can quickly create are remarkable.

rgc:audio Pentagon I

Truly brilliant. A massively fat sound, great GUI and features. Also, the GUI can be changed as there are a number of skins available.
I love this so much. The presets are very varied and range from simple pads to extensive atmospheres suchas the "Chemical" preset.

All analogue style as well. rgcAudio really has found a corner of the market with its P1 and T2 synths.

Highly recommended.

This is one fabulous FREE bit of kit. The presets are great, the GUI is intelligible and the best bit - it's FREE!!!!!

T2 has to be in every project studio's arsenal of VST synths, especially for those looking for that fat, analogue synth sound.
Although it's only a Mono synth, it can create soune superb lead sounds as well as bass/foundation notes.

Superb. It compares very well with Pentagon 1 which I paid for, but is obviously much less versatile. If you like T2, get P1 as well....Awesome stuff.
