AudioRealism AudioRealism Bass Line (ABL)

I have dozens of virtual 303-emulations and this is simply the best one. I listened to acid house a lot in the eighties and was always searching for that clean acid-sound. I want an emulation to sound exact as the 303. Most emulations do well, but have a flaw at some point, where it just doesn't sound as a 303. Not ABL, I think I can state it sounds better than Rebirth.

With ABL, all characteristics are very well emulated, thes ound and the sequencer, slides and accents. Just listen to all the audiodemo's of users on audiorealism.se. I bought ABL after listening to that and I never regretted.

The user interface is nice and operates just like Rebirth. I think that a second skin with a easier way to program patterns would be welcome and Mike is working on that.

Features: Well it is a one trick pony and therefor it rocks! I don't want an emulation which 'sounds even broader than a 303', cause that's mostley a way to describe an emulation which is not accurate.

I really like the feature of triggering patterns with your midi-keyboard. Automation of the synth works fine and is great with a good midi-controller.

Documentation: The pdf manual explains all in detail.

Presets: there are no presets, but I don't need any.

Customer support: It's good until now. Mike's answering questions rapidly on his forum, though there are not many, cause he delivered a very stable product.

Value for money: It may look expensive for a software 303 emulation, but if you want it to be good, it's worth every penny..

Stability: Rock-steady. Never had a single problem.

The only thing I miss is the ability to automate the sequencer. But I guess Mike is working on that to..

All in all the definte 303-emulation, imo.
