Vocal Freeze Sound Effect in Ableton
In this video I use simpler to loop a single point, then modulate the start point so as to control the playback of the sample. This allows me to slow down the sample to a freeze at a point of emphasis.
This technique can lead to something similar to wave-sequencing too.
