A-Tom Soundware: Creative Tools for Studio & Stage.

Based in Vienna, Austria, A-Tom Soundware is a solo independent studio founded by musician and developer Tom Zalud. I create audio tools that range from essential studio utilities, like the 7-Band Hybrid EQ, to experimental tools for sound designers.

The "Run Everywhere" Mission My philosophy is hardware independence. While I provide professional VST3 and AU plugins for your DAW, my technical goal is to ensure that, whenever possible, every tool I build is also compatible with standalone hardware like the Raspberry Pi (via RNBO/Pisound). This allows you to take your studio sound onto the stage without needing a laptop.

Professional Sound meets DIY Spirit I combine high-end DSP—such as analog-modeled saturation and asymmetric musical EQ logic—with a transparent "walkthrough" approach. As a passionate tinkerer, I often share core DSP logic and source code on GitHub to support the maker community.
