as i dont work in VAZ myself, but creamware modular, it works in different ways. from what i understand i dont quite see how feedback comes into the picture here, as it seems that u just go osc-filter-fm and then done. it would however be feedback if u for example routed the output of the filter back into the filter again or something like that. but as i said, this may work differently in VAZ, perhaps ure modulating the FM osc by the filter out as the main osc is goin thru it..or something..dunno.

or.. if ure routing: main osc-filter-back to main osc's FM control(feedback!)-then out again..
then i would understand better. and thats how this works in CW modular if i may add.
edit: ok..sorry for the rant, now i see how u set up yer patch. just got a little missled by that feedback thing, wich u dont have in yer patch from what i can see.
using 1 square osc and 1 FM osc, and routing like u said did the trick heh..

oscillators are fed into a filter and the output of the filter is fed-back to the FM input of one of the oscillators beeing routed into it- but i only applied a tiny amount near the end of the demo for subtle buzziness- that is what is so powerful about modular synthesis- you can use subtle amounts of feed-back and audio as modulators for any parameter allowing you to add very complex/subtle/rich dynamic character to sounds

yes ive managed to do the same now, things tend to always work a little different in diff modulars.
i couldnt agree more, once u get a grip around the modular structure, theres no limit really. the patches i make today, is stuff i never could have done with a standard synth.
