I'm getting well and truly fed up with this - whenever anyone posts about a new free synth here on KVR you can pretty much guarantee that there will be a post appear somewhere in the thread saying "Synthedit?" (or more recently "Synthmaker?")

i don't really care, mate ... it's my right to ask ... it's a known fact that most of the synthedit stuff is crap or always the same more or less (a few exeptions of course)...
also a fact that synthedit is limited in it's features, so unless the creator of such a plugin is not using self-coded modules it either contains the same modules over and over again (osc, filter, such alike) and eats a lot of cpu ...
to save time i can spend better otherwise than beeing always dissapointed by trying again and again there's a valid point to ask before wasting time and bandwidth ...
this is not meant as any offend at all ...
as you say:

thats exactly what i mean:
not in a million years feldspar can compete with rhino ... not featurewise, not soundwise ... apples and, what, melons? ...

just to keep that straight (before anyone says so, i _don't judge about this synth offered here) ...
