Hi Friends,

Not sure if it is a old rare gem or not, I have been trying to find a free VST plugin called InstaGTR (free Guitar DSP plugin for Winodws) by Mike Gazzaruso with no success (developer's site has been down for sometime, have messaged Mike in his Youtube page as well). I would really appreciate if anyone happen to have this VST (in Windows version) and can share it over google drive or dropbox (or any platform of your choice).

Developer's site where the VST was hosted in the past -> https://mrclercy.devoloop.com/instagtr

Thanks in advance and cheers! :tu:

This may help perhaps....

You may PM the developer directly. If he is willing to share, he may help you out.

Thanks, my friend! :)

The developer seems to be inactive on all social media platforms for some time (kinda went off the grid since December). Still, will try sending him a mail to see for any response :tu:

This was probably covered already, but if a VST was taken down for DMCA/Copyright by the developer but still out there free, is it illegal to use it? I'm looking at Juno106 specifically.

Here's a couple blasts from the past:

EMU Proteus VX its a awesome plugin with loads of good sounding samples in a variety of instruments. If you gonna use it on FL Studio, enable "Use fixed size buffers" in the Processing tab.

I use Proteus VX on Win 7 (64-bit) in Reaper; it's a little tricky.

You have to open the VST inside a host, and the .fxb folder inside the VST to access the presets. I'm not using it as a standalone, but I think it's much the same.

The software might be in violation of DMCA, but the individuals who downloaded aren't necessarily breaking the law. However, if a software developer knowingly cloned a product in bad faith, good luck finding a file host from which to download it. The conscientious file host services scrub anything that smells funny to them -- they want to remain in business.

There are plenty of freeware clones of the Juno 106 (especially in Windows), including this one from former KVRist mztk.

Windows 7 32 bits. What kind of error are you experiencing?

It crashes and freezes Sonar on Windows7 64 bit. It does work in a crippled way as a standalone when I give it administrator rights and run it in compatibility mode though. On my Windows Xp 32 bit machine it runs as dream both stand alone and as a vst inside sonar
