Actually there is a thread about it here:

The creator passed away a couple of years ago sadly.
:( Thanks for the link.

How does this thread work? Do you just SEARCH it for something you liked?

Is there an ongoing public google doc people can update and sort?

Hi,

I found a gem by navigating on the net.
Do you remember the Plex synth ? maybe not, it's from an old age...

But now, you can discover and play with this amazing synth for free !!! it's not a joke, both 32 and 64 bits version, just for free !!!
Just go here : http://plex.hermannseib.com/ (http://plex.hermannseib.com/)

Download the Plex2.zip, and Plex204u.zip and extract the content into your 32 and 64bits vst folders.

Have fun ;)

P.S : I have tested this plug and it appear that it have a problem, there is random loud clicks, and it don't appear only in FlStudio, look broken

Make sure to check out xoxos plugins some real gems like breath cube :) you might need jbridger for a lot of these old plugins though as they're 32bit :)

Not a VSTi per se (though it's triggered via midi notes, so you can say it's an instrument 😄), but ive just downloaded the original dblue Glitch which i used to use a decade ago and damn, that plugin is of the highest quality, as old as it is, i would gladly pay to get it today if it wasn't a freeware (yeah i know there is a new paid version 2).

I heard that Albino3 used to be a staple for production in the mid 2000s. Shame that Rob Papen took it down.

Since i assume they used just a simple serial number protection back then, no online registration whatsoever, is it considered legal if someone sells me the serial and gives me the installer?

Brainstormer is one of my favs.

The great thing is the panning (same Ob-xd). That way it's easy to create whirling sounds, drones etc.

Might as well delete this thread. All the links are dead.
