Damn I can't even edit them myself to fix this, they are 'read only'.aMUSEd wrote:Unfortunately categories need a bit of work, I noticed synth pads for example gives me lots of arps and sounds that are definitely not pads.
How are the copy protection now, will users need a dongle (eLicenser or iLok) to be able to use it?Examigan wrote:I really like the PolyKB II and Syn'X 2, both are awesome products
You can choose soft Ilok option if you prefer ( Installs on up to two computers simultaneously )Numanoid wrote:How are the copy protection now, will users need a dongle (eLicenser or iLok) to be able to use it?Examigan wrote:I really like the PolyKB II and Syn'X 2, both are awesome products
In case of iLok, can the PACE soft version be used instead (on up to three machines? )
Worked out a way to edit the categories to fix this, you have to copy the presets into the user content folder and scan them in, then edit them, then copy them back into the factory folder and rescan it. Only problem might be that updates will overwrite that so backup any changes. Hopefully XILS will refine their categories.aMUSEd wrote:Damn I can't even edit them myself to fix this, they are 'read only'.aMUSEd wrote:Unfortunately categories need a bit of work, I noticed synth pads for example gives me lots of arps and sounds that are definitely not pads.
Ingonator wrote:I had installed PolyKB 2.5 today (bought the plugin back in 2010) but have not played much with it yet. Anyway the new multimode filter (with LPF, BPF and HPF) seems to make this much more versatile and one of my favorite softsynths gets even better now.
Together with Syn'X 2 and also Oxium this will cover a lot of different analog style polysynth sounds. Both PolyKB II and Syn'X 2 also include a nice step sequencer.
Also looking forward to the upcoming PolyKB III that is mentioned at the page for the PolyKB 2.5 update.
You have to go to the polykb product page (not store), and click the download link at the top of the page...or just go here: https://www.xils-lab.com/pages/PolyKB_D ... aller.htmlkgdrum wrote:Ingonator wrote:I had installed PolyKB 2.5 today (bought the plugin back in 2010) but have not played much with it yet.
