You can not import samples into Zampler, if they are not SFZ patches

This latest version appears to be unstable on Windows10/Reaper, I get crashes on opening and closing of the GUI.

No problem. Friend of mine is a musician, and sometimes I do a little research for him, like:
Him - I need Kontakt, pronto and cheap.
Me - You don't need Kontakt, You need a sampler. Get a Shortcircuit or Zampler with an sfz editor.

As I have been subscribing to Beat over the last couple of years, I think I have collected 50-60GB of material for Zampler.

That is good, but what puts me off it is that more than often patches are not looped, and there is no way to stack them inside Zampler. Gotta load Zampler in a new channel in my DAW to do that.

i also subsribed to beat some years ago and it would be realy nice if zampler or dune1 could store the path of soundbanks, so that you can easily switch between patches and soundbanks.

Either there or on the FB pages, and yes, they were once free to download..

Assault, CS40-M, and Electro riot were also free for one time or another.
