Thanx for keeping us informed about the build increments, maniacoli!

Did they also released these tiny updates so frequently before 1.1.16? Or it's a new thing?

Seems like Reveal Sound's version scheme is a bit off, isn't it? Bug fixes should not be hidden in build numbers as they themselves might introduce bugs and (accidentally) change behavior.

If you apply semantic versioning to Spire's version number (MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH) that would mean:
  • MAJOR: Complete new version of the synth. Older patches cannot be loaded anymore. Alternatively in VST land: many new features but they are not provided as a free update (older patches can still be loaded).
  • MINOR: New features that are backwards compatible, i.e. patches created with older versions can still be loaded.
  • PATCH: Bug fixes.
Using this scheme Spire would be at something like 1.17.3 now.

As a user of this great software I am quite happy that they still have the 1 in front because this meant lots of free updates. Thanks for that Reveal Sound! Never change.

Edit: Fixed typo.

Drag and drop modulation (EDIT: sort of)! About time! Thank you

Very nice. As an FL user, nice to see the rendering crash addressed too.
Take care

Also found it a bit weird that the Envelope displays are static, while everything else updates in realtime.
Anyone else find it odd that the EQ display is animated but the envelope display isn't. Massive X got a huge amount of criticism for not having animated envelope graphics until they added that in an update.

It would be nice if the envelopes were animated but the reason why Massive X was criticized was because its predecessor had animated envelopes.
