Its free as in free speech. Its even free as in beer, but not for discoDSP, he put a lot of love/work into it. That means you are free to pay or not to pay - paying would liberate it also for George... It might be intentionally misleading for people with too much cash... I am insistingly fine with that...
The GPL is only talking about freedom as in free speech. They even explain that GPL‘d software can be sold as long it stays free...

Kinda true, initially I thought it wasn't free. In some way I understand their choice, but I would love more like a button where you can choose whatever value you want/can afford. For example, I can't afford to pay $50, but for sure I would donate at least $5 if not more and I think it's better than nothing, right?

Anyway, I really like how it sounds, the new skin is really nice! The only thing I think it's missing is a better preset manager. You don't really know what preset is selected and there is no faster way to switch presets.

I think it's worth $49 - but my point is that the Web site doesn't really make it clear that you don't *have* to pay it.
Wouldn't it be just a little bit "cooler" if it was clear that the $49 isn't mandatory but is very much appreciated (and helpful for further development)?
I'm just sayin...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not worth that money, I'm just saying some maybe can't afford to pay that amount and being able to support the developer would be nice.

George, not seeing any of the weird issues I reported before.

Also made myself a quick mod of the new skin. This is 1.3x larger and has a lighter background, which helps distinguish the buttons and knobs from the background. Looks lovely if I may say so. Kudos to Ilkka Rosma for the new skin!
