It's great so many are getting involved.
A few very talented sound designers that might be interested:
http://xenossoundworks.com/
http://www.julianraymusic.com/
http://westgatesounds.net/
All have proven to be very generous in the past and I'm sure they would be happy
to provide something for you.
They all have KVR accounts, so give them a PM!
Actually, I just PM'd Westgate Sounds. He kindly donated some of his amazing work before for the EnergyXT2 competition I was running.
That reminds me. What about WilliamK from Wusik? - he kindly offered a free Wusikstation with soundsets to that same competition as well. I'm sure he'd be in too if you contacted him.
So that is Four sound designers/developers right there. I'm absolutely certain WilliamK would not turn you down for a copy of Wusikstation. He's good like that .
So can someone please PM Julian, Xenos and WilliamK?
I will let you know when Daniel (Westgate Sounds) gets back to me.
I'm kind of painting them into a corner here, but apart from my wannabee Bob Geldof complex (which I don't like to talk about), they are all good eggs, with a proven track record for contributing to stuff like this. I wouldn't mention them otherwise.
Getting a copy of Wusikstation to add to your list would be quite something, and if Xenos and Westgate provided some of their sounds for it, that would be stellar. Julian's soundsets on top would just be the icing on an otherwise delicious cake.
Luftrum, you have your work cut out for you, my good man.
Even if you wanted to run your normal competition, you could run another 'Pot' type reward in parallel, with just these sound designers/developers alone. Lots for you to think about.
Let me know if you want me to PM them personally, if you don't have the time. I would normally have done that first, but hey, these guys are solid!
I want to see all four of them added to your list in the next few days. I'll eat my hat if they don't all say 'hell yeah!', and contribute something to the cause.

Okay.
I've taken the liberty of PM'ing Julian and Xenos and William.
I know it was a bit premature of me, but well, 'how can they say "no"?'.
Give me all your fooking money!
Sorry, that wasn't me. That was Bob. He gets outside of the box sometimes. Bad Bob. Naughty Bob!! Down Bob!
Back in!
Good Bob...
ahem.

Just got some great news.
WilliamK just got back to me, and get this - he is not only prepared to give away a full Wusikstation, with FULL soundsets. He is prepared to give away TWO copies. TWO!
How cool is that?
That is TWO full copies of the latest Wusikstation and all the soundsets that come with it!
What a geezer! That is a MASSIVE sound library. We are talking something like 20 Gigs! And all of it quality!
Luftrum, over to you. I would suggest that you PM WilliamK to say thanks and to work out how you guys are going to do this logistically.
WilliamK - Solid! Thanks.

Thank you. They are all on my list of dev's to be contacted. In particular Wusik got a special place in my heart, they know why. I will take it with WilliamK from here. William, PM me please.codec_spurt wrote:I've taken the liberty of PM'ing Julian and Xenos and William.

I would like to offer a 1 month banner advertisement at rekkerd.org
This 300x250 banner in the top right of the sidebar will show ~300,000 times. Great for developers to advertise products or sales, or perhaps you would like to advertise your music.
The banner campaign runs for 1 month from your chosen start date, which should be within a year from when the auction ends.
At the current advertising cpm price you're bidding on a ~$600 value campaign here.
Note that this auction will only allow advertisements relating to rekkerd.org's content, so music production software, sounds, music, etc. are all good. Dating services, online casinos etc. are not.
Many thanks to Luftrum for setting this up once again. Let's try and go beyond that 20k!
Cheers,
Ronnie
