LuSH-101 indeed does not seem to include a "proper" JP-8000 Supersaw. The settings i mentioned seem to be closer to that (and some additional tweaking it could be evene better maybe).raymondwave wrote: I tried to match my settings to D16 LuSH Supersaw at full density, I'm guessing that supersaw is "inspired" by JP8000 supersaw, but not exactly the original. It's a bit smoother than the one with your settings.
Synths with a "proper" JP-800 Supersaw seem to be Diva, JP-6K by Adam Szabo and the JP-4c Reaktor ensemble by Alex Shore.
Like i mentioned the original Supersaw seems to include an additional HPF and such filter is also included with the Supersaw module of JP-4c.
Diva is the only softsynth that includes all JP-8000 oscillator modes like e.g. the "Feedback Osc" which itself could be very interesting.
The thesis of Adam Szabo is very interesting regarding that topic:

Having a look at this again i noticed that with "mix" at maximum the center Saw is actually smaller in amplitude (and not bigger) than the other which is not possible to do in DUNE 2. This would need an "AMT" setting of e.g. 110-120. Anyway with lower Mix setting the amplitude of the central Saw is equal or bigger than the others which could be emulated in DUNE 2 (with the "AMT" parameter).
Somehow i maybe even prefer the Supersaw i could get from DUNE 2 (with Vintage Saw at 50%, Linear mode, Density: 7, Amt: 90, Spread 12, "Highpass 2P" from "Effects" with "Amount" around 35% routed into "CL Lowpass 2P" from "Filter" ; routing changed by drag & drop).
Finally DUNE 2 offers a lot more options of shaping the Supersaw and other settings than those mentioned above could maybe lead to better and/or more pleasing results which depends on your personal taste.
With some modes like "Perfect 5th" or "Sub Osc" you could add additional harmonics which in this way does not seem to be possible (or at least difficult) in other synths.
one of my favorite features is that this works with any waveform so what about "Supersquare" or "Supertriangle"...
