FL Studio 11.1 (both 32bit and 64bit) works fine for me under Win7.

To everybody having problems with the GUI not showing up or crashing:

EDIT: scratch that, it seems not to be related to the OS. Maybe CPU? I'm on Intel Haswell, maybe some AMD processors don't support some of the used SSE instructions?

I can confirm that Charlatan 2 is working just fine on this machine in FL Studio and Reaper Win XP 32 bit.

That's possible, I am using an AMD Phenom II X6 1100 processor.
W7 64-bit, Mixcraft 32-bit.

@Markku: can you be specific about which presets don't work in poly mode? I did a check switching all patches in the "Bass" bank between mono and poly, everything seems fine.

I tested with 2.0 Beta 2 (2015-05-02).

Bass factory bank:
Deep Pluck - Poly doesn't work
Just enough reso - Poly doesn't work
Sub reese - Poly doesn't work

Pad factory bank:
Dead end - Poly doesn't work
Hohlraum - Poly works!
Shimmer pad - Poly doesn't work
Vocal - Poly doesn't work
Square pad - Poly works!
Flutter rise - Poly works!
SSLB pulsation - Poly doesn't work

Not an exhaustive list. However, AFAIK all thos work with Legato mode.

I have an AMD Opteron 154 in my WinME desktop and an AMD Athlon X2 QL-65 in my Win7 x64 laptop. Both CPU supports only up to SSE3. Charlatan shows no GUI in either system and I tested both the 32bit and 64bit version in Win7.

Mine as well up to SSE3 plus SSE4a, whatever that is.

Seems that a lot of people still use AMD processors, so maybe it would make sense not to use the latest, seemingly exclusive standards in plugins. Since I never had such a problem with any other plugin, including brand new ones, it should be possible to do without the latest standards
