So this is good for multi-sampling other software synths?

Bliss can only record VSTi instruments at the moment. Real-world instrument sampling will arrive later on.
This is very cool. I've tried the soft synth sampling and it seems to work very well! :tu:

Okay, 1.6 officially out :hyper: https://www.discodsp.com/news/

Hardware sampling is pending but not for the short term. There are other tasks to be done first.

I need to test exporting files. Is that possible in the demo?

Nope, it's disabled. What do you need to test?

There has been reports of failed installations with macOS, so demo installer has been rewritten with Packages app (full version already was).

Hi George, I've talked with a colleage these days, about Yamaha Montage and its association with Sample Robot. It came to my mind, that it would make sense to look for an elegant workflow solution to convert specific patches from cpu monsters like Diva, Adam Szabo's Viper, Avenger and so on, set of those plugins that can easily crash Cubase. And you don't want always to modulate the hell out of their parameters, just perform them. Yesterday I discovered Bliss via the VST Buzz deal and BOOM. Just tried the demo and BOOM! Very intuitive, instant buy of the deal. Having 2 questions.

1. I think it should be possible in the full version to store banks to another partition and load them from it? Say you work on your very first bank - is there also a way to store the created programs to another partion by default? Don't want to fill up my User folder on C:, when I start sampling for my song projects.

2. You wrote, that support for external synths will follow soon. I would love to have that option for my Babyface input, in my case for sampling iOS synths like Zeoon, or even drum apps like Patterning. Will this be possible?

Thank you very much for that great Sampler!

Bliss banks and presets can be stored anywhere, so I think there are no issues with it.

I'm thinking deeply about the hardware sampling part. It would be convenient to add it to the standalone app only because it could handle realtime sampling better than inside the host. MIDI note/velocity/modwheel has to be handled in a smart way. Of course any suggestions are welcome!

Hi, I'm very much interested in Bliss but I've read some confusing info about license limitation, in particular that one needs to renew it if one needs a new installer (e.g. for new computer, etc.) even if there was no upgrade to the plugin itself.

Can you please shed some light on this? Or link me to a appropriate source?

Love the auto support replies :hihi: There are no complicated limitations right now. You can download the software at any time from Members Area and upgrade fee will apply if there is any major update, but you still will be able to get access to the purchased software. If you run into issues just let me know thru our contact form https://www.discodsp.com/contact/ or via email at contactus@discodsp.com and I will do my best to help you out.

How’s the sample looping? Any tools/feats to help you find good sounding looping points? Anything comparable to the Penrose Machine in MainStage?

Certainly looks interesting, too bad my German sucks. (Is there an English version?)

Anyways, I was rather referring to Bliss and its built-in features.
