Any takers? I recently auditioned nearly 20 free softsynths and this one came to the top as having the highest quality. I would like to praise this synth (especially it being free).

I am curious to know what happened to Arc 5, hopefully they are working on another project. Having tried Arc 5, the sound was really great although CPU was high (depends on the layers I guess).

Very basic looking but it sounds awesome. I really like this one

Also a good beginne synth for the one starting up in learning synthesis.

KVR sure has a lot of good Mac and Windows VST's and VSTi's for free and pay.

Even though I've never really used this synth, after making several skins for Charlatan 2 last week, in my ongoing process of learning Affinity Designer, I've decided to make a skin for this one too.
It was much more time consuming than I expected, given that there are fourteen files to replace (unlike Charlatan's one), and I will probably do some further refinements and maybe even other versions down the line, but for now here is a version 1 that shares the same theme with some of my Charlatan skins:

Unfortunately, I couldn't (figure out how to) replace the unsightly preset browser, but everything else is completely new.
If anyone likes it, here is a link to the resource file and for those who have never done it before, a short video tutorial on how to replace the skin with Resource Hacker.

Truly a great synth with hq oscs and filter. I like the original skin tho.

It's unusual that such a skilled dev would just disappear in this facebook day and age.

Wow this is fantastic.

If you are going to make more, could you do a 'vintage look' one?
