Just saw the link in the Vengeance synth thread, but it is not the Vengeance synth

Here are the video demos

Seems to be a multylayer rompler like Nexus but with more control over the patch settings.

Sound demos are excellent :)

And it is always good to see a dev using a proper DAW (i.e. FL Studio 8) )

With 3xOSC that can load wavetables/waveforms there gotta be a synth in there too...

Sounds ok.

rather than great? Yeah, my thoughts too.

@Numanoid. Seems something in between an advanced rompler and a basic wavetable synth.

As far as I know thats NOT the vengeance synth. Its someone from the vengeance sound designers who is making his own synth or something.

This is exactly what is stated in the OP :)

Vengeance got pwnd from their own colleagues? Not a nice move :dog:

Looks like a more tweakable nexus. But who needs all these layers and multisamples and so on? Is there really someone trying to make a complete song in his synth? And then there will be the Vengeance synth probably heading the same direction, but with additional expansions.

I don't know what to think about it. But at first sight it doesn't sound better or different than the plenty of synths and romplers that are already out there.

It's NOT about making the whole song that way, the main purpose is for playing live and performing.
The whole idea dates back to 80s, for example Korg M1 had that feature, it was called Combi and it even had a sequencer so that you could record your drums, bass, keys, separately and perform as an one man band.
I mean, don't make stupid assumptions and conclusions...

Even though the developer have worked/is working with Vengeance, surely that doesn't mean he is chained to them?

The color sheme strangely gives me nausea

GUI looks pretty decent to me, no day-glo color scheme :D

No sure he's not. But come on, I read Vengeance is developing their synth for years and suddenly their partner is developing one with similar features, too. Thinking this is a coincidence is pretty naive.

But I don't want to judge anyone without having a closer look at both projects. Peace

Yep I know, clean, easy on the eyes and all. But still, not sure why, the yellowish and brownish tones strongly put me off.
Too much mustard hues for me! :hihi:

What kind of synth is that, it is not Phalanx?
