Like that!!
I think that "a lot of good effects" is a new feature of a good soft synth.
It would be nice to update the sound pack released so far with new effects.

I think this is what you actually wanted to say :)
Indeed :tu: . Because that’s mainly the sort of music I am chasing, I find the (missing) word obvious in my world. But it was truly needed in this context.

Probably some the best built-in reverbs I've heard in a synth. I typically use an external send reverb but I can see myself using these for some sounds.

Thanks dude.

So i promised to make introduction videos. Here is the second one:

This reverb sounds very good. There is only a small micro-pitch shifting with the Space mode? It remembers me a bit to the Eventide Blackhole ;)

And the third introduction video. :-)

Finally got time to look into it. A lot of presets and interesting ARP patterns included. Naming scheme and content structure is a bit confusing and cryptic. But hey, it's free. Can't complain about that :D

One note: The original intention was that a user library is a self contained archive that includes the content of a single soundset. (Export: INFO Tab > Publish; Import: Library > Add...). So instead of creating multiple user libraries you could just use one and use categories to differ between Percussion, Snare, HiHat and so on. Similar too the Factory Sounds. A bit too late now. But I definitely recommend it. It makes the organization much easier.

To demonstrate the power of the multisamples I created this preset you can download for free. Its a big rhodes multisample with 10 velocity steps and 4 x round robin.

Here is a little demonstration of the sound:

Sounds great. Are you using some newer beta version of Rapid? After loading a first Rapid instance and loading this preset, it finishes loading in exactly 1 minute and 37 seconds. Then if I change to another preset and switch back, it loads almost instantly. mac, i7 & ssd here.

@Mirko Ruta

The preset itself is about 2gb in RAM. Thats what I would like to show. You can create big libraries. Btw. Try to play the sound while loading. At the moment you hear the sound, it is complete. After loading the sound itself, Rapid generates the graphics for each wave, which takes in this case a long time because this multisample contains about 2000 single wav files. While rendering the graphics, the osc shows the spinning circle, but the sound itself is playable.

Good to see that case. I think it is not necessary to render 2000 wav files. Will note this and maybe reduce it in an update. ;-)

So just load the preset and if you hear a sound while loading when you try to press a key, you can play with it.

No, it's 7GB! The biggest Omnisphere patches are around 2 GB (single layer) and most of them are almost instantly playable. Not to mention Falcon, this one loads in under 10 seconds multi-patches with 10x the samples you have in your preset while keeping it's memory footprint well under 1 GB.

You really need to think further optimization for Rapid and sample management (maybe including pre-generated png's with waveforms, or "peaks" files, or maybe load the max velocity samples first then load the rest in the background etc.)

Oh yes. I just took a look at the wav files on my harddisk. This is about 2 gb. It means that 5gb are for the 2000 rendered wav-images. Great that we detect this. I know how to optimize that and will note this.

Thanks for the infos. :-)
