hi parawave could you maybe check why the osc/layer copy/paste doesnt also paste the modulation settings? :(

This is intended.

Copy/Paste of modules (OSC/LFO/SEQ ...) is just for parameters. Routings are its own thing defined by the routings entries at the bottom.

Copy/Paste for layers on the other hand includes the routings, since routings are part of a layer.

Parawave when is the 1.8 manual coming? Youve dont quite a bit of work since the last version.

Oh thanks! I looked right after 1.8 and it was still the 1.5 manual.

Post

I too only saw the 1.5 manual.

But yep it is there now.
Thanks

This is a single preset using the newest granular capability's (1.8).

Many layers, lots of modulation, and internal fx, CPU is surprisingly not bad.

That sounds awesome. :-)
+1

Wow, very nice, I may have to rethink this synth.
Its a powerful synth indeed.

nusound mind wrote: Tue Jul 28, 2020 3:43 am I was hesitant to update b/c 1.7 was good enough & I was concerned the addition of granular would be too cpu intensive but compared to something like Pigments it's very reasonable plus it sounds great.
Absolutely recommend to update to 1.8. The faster loading times alone will justify it.
Every change in the signal chain is carefully considered. And any optional module will not increase the overall CPU consumption. If no Granular is used, it has zero impact on the other processing.
Yeah I did and can confirm this. My old patches are still the same cpu. Loading times are better too. I'm a sucker for granular also so it was inevitable but I'm glad I did, some plugins I don't update, if it ain't broke kind of thing.

Are you creating a full XT? Would love to test it. Your stuff sounds really interesting. ;-)
