Obviously there are different opinions on the topic, maybe I am the minority, no problem here.
I won't even start about people who seem to crave for personal attention here only...

For the official record, and just so you know, posting sound examples in this forum has been okay'd by the moderators. So if you have a problem with it, it's YOUR problem.

Have a nice day.

Hello, I'm very sorry about the website and extremely grateful for your interest in Thorn. The website has been a surprise, it couldn't with stand the hits and completely went down. It is now migrating to a new server and should be back online within 24 hours.

In the meanwhile, I have collected all the reports and ready to release the first 1.0.1 update which addresses the most annoying issues. As soon as the website is back up, I'll publish it. For now you could download it from google drive:

For Windows: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2wDx5 ... sp=sharing
For Mac: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2wDx5 ... sp=sharing

Here is the change-log for 1.0.1 version:

- Added "Intermediate" GUI size. As well there is an additional submenu now with precise scaling steps. Click on the logo displays GUI size menu now
- Fixed VST3 automation and mono configuration issues
- Fixed possible crash when playing low keys
- Fixed 32bit versions don't show up on Mac
- Fixed font encoding issues of Windows for some menus
- Increased font size, adjusted GUI layout
- Status bar does not fade out when tweaking parameters now
- In addition to dragging with the right mouse button, CMD(Mac) or CTRL(Win) + mouse drag to adjust mod depth for knobs, the same with mouse wheel/trackpad
- All controls use ALT+drag for fine tuning
- Better faders control for envelopes
- Expanded clickable area for preset arrows
- Manual corrections

Known issues:
- There might be GUI font and layout rendering issues on Windows for "Small" GUI size. OSX and higher GUI scales without issue. Working on it

Again, I'm sorry for all the troubles and thank you for your interest, patience and understanding!
Best wishes,
Dmitry

As a Diversion fan I pretty much picked this synth up instantly... I think Thorn is fantastic and very inspiring to use.
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

Another Diversion fan here.

Still trying to figure how much Thorn would add to Diversion sonically. Thorn has some usefull stuff like the harmonic filter, the glitch sequencer and that "boost" thing but they seem to be quite similar in the overall sound character. I will probably end up with buing Thorn before the intro price ends anyway... Maybe just to discover that I was already able to do 80% of Thorn in Diversion :?
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try
