Thanks, I probably will need them :hihi:

Funny, to get the highest CPU load with Repro 1 I need to access the settings tab, that alone uses way more CPU than any patch :hihi:

I think some of the patches in Repro 1 are way too loud. Might be better if the output control applied to the instance rather than the patch.

Between the multicore and Cubase's ASIOguard2 its not been an issue for me yet, and my rig is more Apollo space age than Space X.

Output control actually models the behavior of output VCA on the hardware unit itself. Gives additional "meat" when needed :)

I know you're a tester and have more knowledge on these things than I would, but the manuals for both say, "OUTPUT: A final volume control, after all amplifiers and effects." The part I bolded indicates that it's a clean gain.

I agree with fluffy_little_something that loud patches and inconsistent patch volumes are a big pet peeve of mine. RePro is by no means the worst offender in this regard, but I do wish more conservative levels were used and enforced in the factory banks. I keep Ice9 on my output and it's not uncommon for RePro-5 to trigger it with some polyphonic patches.

I noticed with some of the bass patches, some are crazy loud...

Man, I could say something about this but I'd only be opening up a huge can of worms. But you're right. And not only Repro, but tons of other synths where the volume could blast you out of your chair.

I know why it's done, but like I said, I'm not opening up that can of worms.

I don't see why classic sounds need to be paired with anemic control in this day of LinnStrument, Roli etc, but perhaps there is some technical reason. I understand "the originals only did x" but the originals weren't software running as plugins. Emulation should stop somewhere and control is orthogonal, e.g. many classic synths didn't support velocity or aftertouch but adding that support is an obvious and useful enhancement.

Please Urs, more mod matrix!

agree, mo mods is mo better.

So many DAWs have options these days for modulation, lack of mods is kind of only a preset builder's issue.

It's an old one, C2D E6750. But my point is that I can use multiple instances of Diva or Bazille in middle quality, but not Repro-5.
That CPU is more than 10 years old and yet you're complaining about CPU usage being brutal. :D

Wow, am loving Repro-5. Would love it even more if the FX could be used as separate plugins
A well-behaved signature.

+1
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

I would love it if all the u-he synths had an FX version so we could route audio through the engine/filter/fx etc
