This would not be as simple as it may seem unfortunately. It would mean re-designing everything again from the ground up completely for this to work. This is because Evolution and Revolution use a totally different engine, and are programmed in a different way. It may happen one day, but we ultimately see these two products as totally separate instruments :)

Once you have the Evolution Module version, it will be easy to mix and math Revolution and Evolution modules though, of course!

We are looking into automation in more detail, and we will continue developing and improving Evolution over time - refining things and adding new features - as is always the case with our instruments :)

Regarding Sequence keys - are you referring to the info help tags?
The manual also says C-1 starts the sequencer but it does nothing for me. I can start the pattern with F2 however.
Good spot. This is a mistake in the manual. It should in fact read F2 and not C-1. I have now fixed this and will re-upload the manual. There shouldn't be any other mistakes in the manual, and the reason for this one is that our instrument 'Revolution' featured this control (C-1), but we decided not to include this in the end for Evolution, since F2 has the same function.

Hi Wave Alchemy,
First off, thanks for an amazing sounding and fun to use drum instrument. I love it!

One thing that I would love to see added is the ability to use polyrhythms, is that going to happen?

Thanks.

We are glad to hear that you are enjoying Evolution!

Yes, we are working on adding Poly Rhythmic Sequencing capabilities to the Sequencer :)

Nice one again Wave Alchemy!! My final drum machine!

Some small things which I know you will fix:

- I can't seem to find how to MIDI CC the X/Y controllers. I would love to control them during breaks. I can't drop a Kontakt MIDI automation controller on something on the X/Y controller. Is it not possible?
- The sequencer is most of the time out of sync (late) with my DAW. Is there some setting?

Thanks for this beast guys! :tu:

Picked Evolution up yesterday and yeah, seriously impressed. The sounds are sensational straight out of the box and the scope to tweak and manipulate sounds is amazing. The interface is a real pleasure to use although I do wish I could go full screen at high Rez, maybe thats a Kontakt thing? My aging eyesight doesn't like tiny buttons and text :) I've set it up to go 12 mono outs from Kontakt->Bitwig for further processing, pity theres not a Bitwig device included alongside the ones for Live, Logic and Maschine as Kontakt is a PITA for routing. Using all the BW modulators on all the macros and layers in Evolution is going to be wild.

Anyway, great drum machine!

Thanks! :D

What you request is currently available already for those using Maschine / Komplete Kontrol, but we will look at the possibility of adding this as a general MIDI spec in the future :tu:

Regarding the sequencer, this certainly shouldn't be happening. Are you sure you don't have Sequencer Slop enabled? This makes the sequencer go out of time in an interesting way.

If not, please contact support via our contact us page on lour website and we can easily resolve this :)

Thanks Jarnold!

Unfortunately the GUI is not currently resizable, but Evolution already does include a much bigger GUI than almost all Kontakt Player instruments currently available on the market. I believe we are actually one of the only companies currently using the bigger GUI size available in the newer Kontakt spec. I guess you could try reducing your screen resolution?

We can look into providing a Bitwig template in the future, and if you need any help routing multi outs in Bitwig, let our support know via our web form, and we can help out with this very easily :)

Thanks foe the super nice words. We are glad to hear you are enjoying Evolution, and we have many exciting updates and feature improvements in the works!
