Such as?

Well, they add new modules to core from time to time and you get them automatically.
Most of the time they are also communicated in this thread here when they are added.

Which ones did you get?

Are there modules that you automatically get when they come out if you bought the core package?
Yes.

If so, this is turning into an even better deal than I expected.
Yes :)

...that, combined with the xmas sale price, was what made me finally buy it, despite it isn't working yet (if ever) on PH's Reason (Windows) :(

I don't recall which ones they were but I can go look. There were two or three I think.

Simply browse back through this thread. Cherry Audio has kept us informed of each released set of modules, mentioning which are included or not in the Core set.

There's also the "Recent" tab/filter in the VM module browser.

Or check this: https://cherryaudio.com/resources/news

Anyway, I was just wondering where these modules came from. I definitely did not buy them and they are not in demo mode.
Cherry Audio representative here said they were planning some new modules to add to the Core Audio package. All of those, once available, will be free for the registered owners, I guess.

No, it's OK.
It's my understanding that Voltage Modular reconnects every single time and gets your stuff (it actually says that at the bottom :D ) automatically, so I thought that there were new modules that were not yet announced.
But that's what the panel "New or updated" is for and I don't see any new entries there.
I did see a panel "In beta" bleep in for a second, so new stuff is on the way. :)

Is CAVM all enclosed or is it possible to have operators inside CAVM control settings on VST's in DAW via midi ?

Is the reverse also true in that I could have say LFOTool control parameters in CAVM ?

I don't think you can route the CV signal out of VM* (BTW, no one says "CVAM", I think?), but the other way around works via the performance panel with 9 macro knobs and 4 buttons, that you can control, automate, modulate from within host DAW:

On further digging
CV and MIDI in and out modules for easy interfacing with other virtual instruments and external hardware synthesizers
from - https://www.kvraudio.com/news/cherry-au ... ular-42746

Suggests it's possible no ?

Or is it in the works to be possible, I was going to buy dialogaudio SQ4 and MP344 but they seem redundant if I can buy VM and get essentially the same thing via combining modules as well as having an actual modular synth too

There are 'cv to midi', 'cv to midiCC converter' and 'midi out' modules.

To avoid the 7bit'ness of MIDI CC convertion, those with Reason on Mac can simply route to the aux audio outs and use that (at audio rate) within the Reason rack (like with Thor, Complex-1) or convert that audio out to Reason CV (using Thor or specific Audio-to-CV free REs) to use with other rack devices CV inputs.

The inverse process could be done to inject CV from Reason into VM.

Unfortunately, Windows Reason users are out :(

You all are overthinking this. WAY overthinking it. First of all I bought Voltage for $83 at everyplugin.com. It is the same offer with the Misfit drum modules. The cost is reasonable and nobody is forcing you to buy extra modules. Also Cherry Audio is releasing new mdules free for Core owners. Such as myself.

Yes the website is atrocious. But I am sure that given a little time it will get better. They are concentrating on delivering content and I would much rather get content instead of a better website. I still remember Acustica Audio's first sites. They were worse than Cherry's by far but are nice now. Give them a break.

As for the offers changing prices I have to agree with that but I paid $83 and have nothing to complain about.

The program is SOLID. It is worth the price. Don't let a crappy website make you think that the program sucks. Because it doesn't.

PSP and Vult are collaborating with Voltage and I do not think they would jeopardize their good names for this if there was something drastically wrong with it. So what if the developers have no business sense. Don't let that stop you, and if it does stop you then you are missing a really good rack.

Finally, as a Softube Modular owner I can tell you that Voltage is the program Softube should have been. I hardly ever used Softube after purchasing it because the workflow sucks. This is like a breath of fresh air for Softube owners.

i imagined there would be, most modular environments in sw have similar :)
