Sonicbytes - ERA
hg fortune - XWOF-II
Slowly converting all stuff to x64, but this will take another decade.

I still use this one pretty regularly. I wish the guy who owned it was up for porting it with the latest synth edit for 64-bit compatibility. It's about as stable as any other bridged synth edit plugin though.

The oldest could be synth1 , but I could be wrong
The funny thing is, I build the Airwindows plugins on an old laptop specifically so they all still work on old machines. As in, you could run 'em (including the latest releases) on a PPC Mac. :D

So it gets to be old and totally new at the same time

I sometimes fool around with Schism Tracker (though Renoise is hard to beat, for that)

I still use a couple things from VSL for Gigastudio. Not the plugin, use 'em in Kontakt. Not sure the original release dates but they definitely go back to Gigastudio and iirc G2 (ca 2002). PITA to make the control anywhere close to Performance Tool in Giga but I have major matrices and presets for the things in Mind Control by Gregg Greg Schaepfler. One thing I think sounds better than the current version (alto flute). The organization is kind of byzantine, which is noticeable as you see the guts of it organizationally this way, with it done for you you never see the samples.

It is likely going to be Vanguard (reFX) or Pro-53 (NI) that would fall into that category. Most other instruments have been updated so I won't count those (specifically Reaktor).

Since I have only a few 3rd party plugins, these are the oldest: Korg Collection, Operator & Analog.

I used vb-1 and quadrafuzz the other day in a track. Got amazing results. Not sure why I stopped using them.

SQ8L; to me this is an absolute gem. So sad that the code went to be abyss afterwards: either sell it or open-source it.

My wet dream would be uh-e or TAL working on the original code base for an 2018 implementation. It sounds like nothing else in the plugin market.
