I like the sound but i am under the impression that a synth like e.g. Dune 2 could bring these sounds more convincingly. Nice sounddesign though.
Yes Dune 2 can do 99% of what talmod does ( when dune mod matrix update rate is set to sample/audio rate )) .
It's just as modular , without te pacth cables ;)
Then again , dune costs 3 times as much and it's osc.sync is not master--->slave , but rather the osc.is synced to an internal oscilator

Something that's been bothering me from the beginning ,
At the moment +2 = 4 octaves ., and +1 =2 octaves
If we want to modulate the pitch of osc 1 by osc 3 over an 4 octave range and controlled by an envelope , we simply make 2 connections .( see screenshot )

BUt if we want to control it over an 8 octave range and controlled by an envelope , this simply isn't possible

Although I don't understand what you are trying to do, can't you make two identical connections that add up? 8)

Noppes , that's what I am explaing :D , I am trying to achieve 8 octave range pitch modulation, where the modulation source/amount is controlled by an envelope . ( osc3 multiplied by envelope ) going into osc 1 pitch input .

You can add up 2 modulation like this .
A ) osc3*(multiplied ) by envelope 3 ( the multiplication would the modulation amount )
B) envelope 3 *(muliplied ) ocsc 3
Route both of these in the pitch input of osc1 and we get an 4 ocatve modulation ( 1+1=2 = 4octaves in talmod )

These can be added up and that it what the screenshot shows , however the mulplication is standard 2 octaves .( which is +1)

If we want a higher amount ( +2 ) we lose a modulation amount modifier .
If we want 8 octave modulation ( +4 ) we can not control our mod .source by an envelope , cappice ?

Here are 2 patches , we have a 4 octave range pitch modulation , we cant get higher ... because the standard mod amount is +1 ,
Patch 1 = 4 octave modulation controlled by an envelope (set to ful sustain ) .
Patch 2 = 8 octave modulation , can't be controlled by an envelope because we needed +2 as control amount (2 times )

Closely inspect the modulator and it will all become obvious :)

At least some of your patches are in 1.1.0 now.
Of course easy enough to turn down, but surely wished a lot of them used much lesss reverb. Compared to the rest of the factory bank they were a bit more reverby to me anyway.

Yes. Some are more/less dry, and some have more reverb. This is how I feel sounds would be effected in a track context. Like you said it's easy to bypass or adjust

I'm impatient to hear the rest.

I hope there will be lots of pads as well.
Thank you :)

Pads there are, and well a pot-pourri of patches in a lot of categories, as, hopefully, the audio demos will show.

Lotuzia, is a very nice guy.
I welcome him and his tasty presets.

The presets we are making for Tal-Mod are quite different from any of the stock presets anyway.
More in the line of Atmospherics.

There is room for all us sound designers. :)

Thanks

Exactly this : Different SDs, different approaches, different sounds. Even if I make sometimes atmospher*hips*, these will be different atmospherics. Well done PAdams !
