I don´t care where you add libraries, from the Konakt or via the Native Access. But the trouble is, that the old existing Kontakt libraries have not been able to add by using the Native Access.
Typical case is, when you have for one or other reason lost your system disk, and replaced it, and all your libraries are located in hard drives all over you computer.
You re-isntall the plugin, but wouldn´t like to re-install tons if gigabytes of libraries.
The key question here is: has the NI now, after more than a year, fixed this issue?

Some legacy libraries are not working, certainly EW RA, my most used library fails in 5.8

That's cool but I wish they would of made sure all libraries worked with it before full rollout.

Or at least a way to run 5.6.6 or .8 alongside the latest builds.

Rollback to 5.7.3 for the time being if you absolutely rely on those. NI is aware of the error and are working on a fix, we'll probably have 5.8.1 in due time.


EDIT: Actually, gotta rollback to 5.6.6. RA didn't load in 5.6.8 onwards, curious how nobody noticed till now.

Yes, but Service Center guts were removed from Kontakt since 5.6.8, so it doesn't read those authorizations at all any longer. So this is a bug somewhere between Kontakt and NA.

Ahh. didn't realise that.
Every once in awhile I find an errant library that says unauthorized, but haven't had that in awhile.
