Not really the kind of thing I would normally get excited by, but it does look like a great way of getting some neat sounds, very easily.

...also surely the definitive confirmation of that Komplete 12 list of products taken from the NativeAccess.xml. I wondered if TRK-01 might be some internal code but here it is a few weeks later as an actual thing. So yes here’s a new kick / bass thing, and Massive X and Kontakt 6 should be on the way.

You’re right - it actually looks pretty good.

Also - I assumed from the description that this would involve side chaining and eq sculpting between the two elements. Maybe this is happening under the hood with Booster or something, but it otherwise didn’t seem to go down that road.

Can't really say, as I probably won't get a chance to have a real play for a couple of days.noiseboyuk wrote:Also - I assumed from the description that this would involve side chaining and eq sculpting between the two elements. That final part of the Cuckoo’s demo, when he adds the hi hats to the kick track remind me of the IK Uno synth demos where they show almost the exact same thing.

Meh, looks like a polyplex - kick part beefed up, a little, just tiny bit. I wonder what NI was thinking with this. When i first saw the Teaser i thought NI will go all the way to make something similar like Punchbox or Kick 2. But this is eh well meh.

But that's one of the good things about NI i.e they have multiple simultaneous paths. In fact, in their diverse catalogue, it's these kinds of instruments that seem to be in the minoritydreamkeeper wrote:but if they continue on that path...

What I want is a variant of this that's not even close to the TRK-01 but if future upgrades go down the following path then
I'd like both channels to either load samples or VST's and the bass to support sidechaining.
Being able to load say Kick2 into one channel and Massive/Sylenth/Serum into the other would be absolutely immense. A complete workflow revelation for Cubase Elements (specifically this due to the lack of sidechaining).
