I think Guitar Amp Sims are great. Althought I am familiar with the name, I am not yet familiar with Brainworx's developments. I checked out the site, but I found hoops to jump through, namely having to join plugin alliance to try a freebie. *cringe* I hate those schemes. Not a fan of marketing hooks of any kind. I prefer to keep my gems on a backup harddrive without online validation or special installers. The plugins with a simple installer, or a dll drop-in, those have always been the most reliable gems, the only that I can safely call my own. After all, so many companies tank, or tank their product lines, or older versions.. it really sucks..so therefore, a simple keyfile or serial number are always the best ones.martinjuenke wrote:What you think about Guitar Amp Sims like the ones from Brainworx? Will they do the tricks as well? If not, why (your opinion)?Vertion wrote:As was mentioned before, if you want it to sound good, export to an external overdrive guitar pedal (real hardware).
Currently, I would put my chips with sims from Andrew Simper (Cytomic and FXPansion) or Jaroslaw Jacek (Dagger) for circuit modelled work though. I love the sound.
Otherwise I have my MojoMojo overdrive, my Sub37, and even my MicroBrute to channel through to get some analog gain/filter from.

I have never seen a nuclear explosion with my own eyes, so I have no reason to believe they acrually exist.recursive one wrote:You occasionally nuked a country?Vertion wrote:Oops, wrong button

2.200 €. Plus the costs of the work. So, probably rather 10.000 €.

I’d say, Falcon and Omnisphere. Avenger may be good, but at some point you have to say, “enough.”

After revisiting some synths, explore new presets and dive in in new features i came to the decision that if i would want to use one super synth it is for sure Alchemy. If the Logic version just still had .tun file import....
