I'm a fan of Aiyn Zahev and he still sells his Horizon bank for DCAM.

Would these sounds load in Cypher 2? Yes or No?

I suppose you could deconstruct them to extract any Strobe and Cypher patches, then rebuild any fx and arp mappings but they would be different patches really.

The skin is still under development but you are welcome to try it in it's current state.
Thanks for sharing - I like it and congrats to you for achieving this. Some feedback, for what it's worth....
I particularly liked the position highlight spot colour on the knobs, and I loved the improved highlighting that kicks in when you select or hover over the transmods - both comments based on the fact of improved contrast and speed of assimilating the knowledge it provides.
I liked less the two pale blue panels; for the browser and the central information panel. For me these two panels cheapened the improved gains you made elsewhere. I'm not a colour specialist, so cannot offer good suggestions, but I felt that the background colour used had too much white in it. If you were going to darken it down you would probably want to match or complement your existing scheme. That might have knock-on effects to the font colour scheme....
Bottom line, I'm sticking with this for a bit to see how I get on.
PS1 I had no concerns about the knob shading cf the background
PS2 The 'structural' changes you mentioned have an interesting effect on the original themes - some folks might like that....

I picked it up. Really nice. A must if you own any Roli controller. This week was a bit crazy, but I hope to be able to dig in deeper next week.

Stefken, That's just fantastic and exactly what I meant. Thank you so much.
As a (very) small token of gratitude, I'm copying in my first home-made patch. [Don't get too excited now....]

I just DLd the demo version 2.4.9, and the AU version fails to validate on my 10.13.6 Mac in Logic, MainStage, and Digital Performer. VST and standalone are fine. Anyone else seeing this? I look forward to trying this very cool synth. TIA

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did, since it now seems to be S.O.P. to do so when installing or updating plugs. I suppose I could trash my validation cache and try again?fisherKing wrote:working here in logic X. have u rebooted? Bug: naming of a patch not succesfull when saving a patch
Version: 2.4.9.0
Scenario:
1) Make a patch either from scratch, via randomizer of changing an existing patch.
2) Click the save icon (box with an arrow down) next to the patches dropdown
3) In the dialogue, change the name of the patch e.g. "BA FM bass fat"
4) In the dialogue, click the save button; the dialogue disappears
5) The patch is saved but not with the name you specified but with the name it had when the save dialogue opened (Like when you started from scratch, it will save with name "default"). Both in the browser, the filename on disk and in the xml in the file, the name will show as "default".
6) Funny thing is, when you save another patch as "BA FM bass fat", a dialogue will pop up, stating that this name already exists, asking to overwrite.
The crashing bug on the save dialogue is also still there. I'm starting to feel like I'm walking on eggshells when I want to save a patch.
Could this be resolved please?

Not sure if that is your issue, but I had a similar issue which was a user error.Stefken wrote:Bug: naming of a patch not succesfull when saving a patch

It always saves to User Bank..... so if your filters show factory bank and not either USER or NONE it wouldn't show it until you do.
hope that makes sense.

Am I correct in assuming that most if not all of Electric Himalaya's banks which FXPansion used to sell for Cypher 1 are now included in the factory bank?
A well-behaved signature.
