i'm not sure this is the right place, but i just wanted to report a small bug ( win10 , fl studio), when i select a preset the text name & class etc. does not update... i can hear the preset change otherwise so just a visual thing...

hi inkwarp, thanks for reporting.. the best thing is to post it to http://github.com/surge-synthesizer/surge/issues/new and post the version of Surge you're using, which VST/VST3/AU and which operating system + app. and maybe a before+after screenshot if possible.
that way it doesn't get lost on this forum and ignored.

Is there any way we can get a mod edit, so we can include
https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/
in the original post?
Something like
** ABOVE LINK IS ORIGINAL SOURCE CODE ONLY. SEE BELOW FOR THE LATEST WORKING VERSION **
Who do we ask?

In fact kurasu/Surge is also outdated so the source Code link would be http://GitHub.com/surge-synthesizer/surge

I think this was a known bug with version 1.5.2 when the audio engine wasn't running.

Nothing much to say, except that Surge is making me very, very happy right now, and that after a couple of months tinkering with it I think I've finally found MY soft synth. Never even tried it before in all its years of existence - thanks so much to everyone involved in the open source project!

for a free synth in my book. add to it the wav loading of v1.5 and
there is almost no end to the sounds one can make with it.
