What is a Synth VST with a wide range of "classic" bass preset? - Electronic music.

Hi people,
I am a presets guy. And I have Serum and Halion Sonic SE.
I don't like their basses factory sounds. I find them too "gritty" .
I am looking for bass sounds that are something between a real bass and an electronic bass.
Which synth could I check for this type of sound?
Does Dune2 deliver something like that? (my demo has expired).
Thank you in advance!

Solidtrax did some really cool bass presets on Fathom by Seaweed Audio and Tal Basline 101
https://www.fathomsynth.com
https://tal-software.com/products/tal-bassline-101
The ones for Bassline 101 are in the factory bank. Fathom has some in the factory as well as a bank for sale on the Fathom site. Both synths are fair priced and the preset bank for Fathom is a steal.
I am not affililiated with Solidtrax....just a fan. Their stuff always sits well in the mix.

Factory bass presets are usually 90% crap. Even on expensive synths such as Diva.
So, a dedicated bass synth like Tal's is probably your best option.

The Legend has a whole folder of great classic bass presets from the Minimoog

Any songs featuring the kind of basses you are looking for?

You might check the DUNE 3 demo when it is released.
DUNE 2.5 alraedy includes several nice bass patches in the factory presets. That also includes FM basses using the FM Osc mode and/or "hybrid" basses that combine FM and a filter.
Synapse Audio The Legend is great for classic analog bass sounds and has a bunch of them in the factory presets.

Probably Spectrasonics Trillian will provide all your needs, if you are rich and want a single solution. If not, then you're going to have to research and find the right synthesizers or samples for your specific musical tastes.

i'll tell you why presets never work for me, because bass requires
the right decay and release to fit the tracks tempo. you can
search for hours trying to find a patch within a bunch of presets,
then theres all the post treatment like adding some tube saturation and such...
so might as well learn sound design.
for the basic sound source i like:
Analog: charlatan, Tal Elektro
acoustic/electric: EVM bassline
FM: OXEfm
