I'm using ableton live 10 and I'm trying to use it as a audio interface and control surface and want to hook up my matrix brute I'm after Google and you tube but no joy thanks for watching .also there is no sound

well the matrix brute needs to be connected via the analog inputs. that's easy.

the mx1 as an audio interface? just plug it in and select MX1 in ableton.
the mx1 as a control surface? change the mode upon startup. that's a little more difficult so may be on page 2.

Thanks mushy man I think the problem is I didn't get the proper midi cable when I got it second hand

Any MIDI cable should do for the Arturia.

You need to connect the MX1 to the computer via USB though and it will automatically be found and the drivers installed.
