Yes! I downloaded the free ones and have been meaning to post about them. They all look very interesting! The free filter sounds really good and the free strange instrument is fun to play with. The commercial ones are also cool but I have yet to delve in. I am looking forward to the GUI discussion here. LOL :phones:

The free filter is pretty unique, I used it today and like what you can do with it although chaos just seems to add noise and not actual chaos like I was hoping, the spiral gen I haven't tried yet but it looks like a fun piece of kit for sci-fi sound design!

I picked up the Soundemote bundle which includes the synths Radar, Spiral, Nyquist, Mushroom and Torus and the visualizer PrettyScope for $119. If you close the cart before buying you might get offered 15% off.

These are crazy cool synths and sound surprisingly nice. Here's a track I put together using an instance of each synth and drums from UVI Drum Designer. Only EQ on each track and couple have some compression. Stereo processing and limiter on the master buss. No other effects.

Call me nuts but I don't mind the GUI. It's functional and somehow refreshing... :tu:

I also bought the bundle recently, quality stuff!

I just wish they had proper manuals, as the controls might seem a tad too visual oriented. I get that the aim is to offer oscilloscope music tools (and it’s fun and refreshing) but these are still synths, producing lush, alien tones. I’d love to know how they work in (un)usual / common, synthesis related terms.

Especially found of Radar, Nyquist and Torus, coaxing mad sounds somehow reminiscent of what can be done with Razor.

At times I wish I could stack a couple of Osc/voices within the same instance, for the sake of experimentation.

The new filters Soundemote has coded would be a nice addition too.

Great synths no matter what, offering something fresh to my synth palette.

They have a sale on at the moment, I picked up Prettyscope because it looks like it'll be a fun tool to make some video to go along with music on youtube vids instead of generic images and also Radar because it seems a unique enough synth to go with my already too big collection of synths

I bought Radar today on a whim for $9 after grabbing the free stuff. Really fun easy synth to smash out some unique and far ranging sounds with.

Are these synths only for experimental sounds?

I think you could easily integrate them into pop or edm. Personally I'm more interested in going in more of a nin or apex twin, edgy kind of sounds.
