Wow just got super excited I love XLN Audio, I was actually hoping they would make a sampler or something of the sort...but it looks like they just put a different skin on Algonauts Atlas, because unless I;m missing something...um...Atlas has already done this.

I have never used Atlas but I think the main difference is that XO has a sequencer built in and has midi/audio drag and drop. I think it's out next week so you will all be able to take a look for yourselves.

That's exactly what I was thinking. And if I'm not mistaken, there is another company with a very similar product (they all have that same dots in space GUI) but I can't remember. I guess this is a good idea that has gotten around fast.SoundPorn wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 6:35 am Wow just got super excited I love XLN Audio, I was actually hoping they would make a sampler or something of the sort...but it looks like they just put a different skin on Algonauts Atlas, because unless I;m missing something...um...Atlas has already done this.
Looks nice though all the same.

I've been beta testing the new Addictive Katzenklavier. Development is purring along nicely.

Is AD2 that old? It's aging well if you ask me, much better then a lot of newer tools...

I LOVE Addictive Drums. But it’d be nice to maybe see a little bit more tweakablity eventually though. More snares with the snare turned off, hardware hits, better cymbal responses and articulations... It seems like Superior Drummer raised the bar. Addictive Drums kits sound amazing and sit really well in a mix, however for some it would be cool to work with raw uncompressed samples and build from scratch. It just seems like their competitors like SD and BFD have added a lot more functionality to their products while AD has stayed mostly the same. It’s been over a year since a new adpak came out.
When AD first came out, sound designing and tweakability was one of their staples. Now it seems like they’re more for users who just want a quick kit & a generated beat. And I get that aspect of the market. It’s why all drum plugins have some sort of rhythm and beat generators, midi packs etc... but some extra features would make it more fun for those who use the software with their e kits, and prevent their users from switching to the competition.

Wow, it's a clone of Algonaut Atlas
-10/10 for originality.
