That's very, very cool, William. Asking a lot here for a freebie, but: any chance the midi-triggered recording/playback could do so by varying pitch? Nothing fancy, no formant adjusting, just speed up/slow down the sample playback speed to have a very basic sampler with built-in sample acquisition format.

In Cakewalk by Bandlab it seems as the gui pivot point that should be top left is centered.

No need for screenshots. I dl'ed v1.0.2 and used the vst3. It worked fine.
I usually use vst2 but i think i did that last time when i got that weird gui. Probably me doing something wrong.

I've checked the Patreon page. It could be useful for developers to get small contributions. Time will tell.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what exactly does this do that the record function in any DAW doesn't do? Or a simple bounce feature, for that matter?

FMR, depends on the daw, as some don't feature recording in an easy way. But still, here you can record something, loop it and play it like a sample to test before you export to some other plugin/app. If I recall FL is one daw that doesn't allow recording in an easy way. Still, this is open-source, so people can learn from the code, that alone is a big plus.
